7 Day Makeover of Turners Beach

Turners Beach will get a people-powered 7 Day Makeover and we want you to help us promote it and be part of it. International placemaking expert David Engwicht will help ordinary people create extraordinary places, in just seven days – without endless talk.

Information Night

The process will be explained at an Information Night to be held on Tuesday 23 February 2021 in the Turners Beach Hall, 58-60 Esplanade, Turners Beach.

How You Can Take Part

    1. Attend the Information Night on Tuesday 23 February to meet David, hear how the 7 Day Makeover works and how you can be a part of it.
    2. If you can’t attend the Information Night, visit the Registration website and click on scheduled makeover components to see what you could be part of.
    3. Donate to help resource the 7 Day Makeover of Turners Beach on the Fundraising page: Fundraising
    4. Visit the 7 Day Makeover of Turners Beach Facebook page
    5. Download the 7 Day Makeover of Turners Beach brochure – and share with your friends and colleagues.

There are important jobs for everyone, regardless of skill level or how much time you can give.

Weekend Planning Workshop       20 and 21 March between 9.30am and 4.30pm

Volunteer Briefing                           21 March between 3.30pm to 4.30pm

Turners Beach Makeover               22 March to 26 March – on any day and at any time   
(Give as little as one hour)

Launch Party                                  27 March between 9.30am and 10.30am
