The Ulverstone Visitor Information Centre and the Ulverstone History Museum are always looking for volunteers to join their team.
If you have time available and like the thought of assisting tourists with their travel plans, then call us – we have a place for you on our team. Tourism industry training and familiarisation tours are available to you to bring you right up to speed on our visitor attractions. As a registered volunteer you’ll also be eligible for some great discounts.
So if you’d like to wear the ‘Coast to Canyon’ polo-shirt along with the rest of our proud volunteers, call the Council’s Visitor Services Coordinator, Susanne Clear by phone on 03 6425 2839, drop into the Ulverstone Visitor Information Centre and introduce yourself or send an email to [email protected].
The Ulverstone History Museum is temporarily closed to visitors during the development of the current museum site for the exciting Ulverstone Cultural Precinct.
Volunteering in Central Coast
A new publication, “Lending A Hand – It’s In Our Nature” was launched during Volunteer Week 2017 and is updated annually.
The booklet is a handy reference point for locals wanting to find out more about the many different options for volunteering in our community.
Booklets are available by clicking here, or pick up a copy from the Council’s Administration Centre or the Penguin Service Centre.
