Community and key stakeholders once again have the opportunity to provide feedback on this exciting community and cultural facility during the Development Application process.
Your support for the project is important and previously the Council gathered your thoughts on how you would like these new spaces to be used and what you expect from events to be held there.
The Council has continued a Community Action Group from the Ulverstone History Precinct Review Project to help guide the project.
The feedback gathered during the draft schematic design phase from community and key stakeholders has informed the final schematic design developed in June 2019 by the design team.
At their July meeting Council approved the revised design which will be submitted for Development Application in early August. This design will be available for public comment for two weeks during this statutory period with feedback closing on Monday 19 August 2019.
You can view the design and comment during this period by visiting Council’s Administration Centre at 19 King Edward Street, Ulverstone, or visit https://www.centralcoast.tas.gov.au/current-planning-applications/ to view the design and have your say during this comment period.
