Dates & Times: 10 – 26 December 2024 (closed Christmas Day).
10-13 December: 11 – 3 pm and 4 – 8 pm
14-15 December: 12 – 3 pm and 4.30 – 9.30 pm
16-19 December: 11 – 3 pm and 4 – 8 pm
20-26 December (excluding Christmas day): 12 – 3pm and 4.30 – 9.30 pm
Location: Wharf Precinct, Ulverstone.
Price: $15 per person, for a 30-minute ice-skating session.

How much do tickets cost?
Tickets are priced at $15 per person. This grants access to the ice-skating rink for a 30-minute session during the opening hours.
Where is the event taking place?
The event will be held at the Wharf Precinct in Ulverstone.
What other activities are available besides ice-skating?
In addition to the ice-skating rink, there will be food vans offering a variety of delicious treats and lawn games for families to enjoy, providing entertainment for all ages. The ice-skating rink is also perfectly located near the Ulverstone CBD and our most popular parks and playgrounds!
Is the ice-rink suitable for wheelchairs?
While unfortunately the ice-rink itself isn’t safe for wheelchairs and other mobility aids, there will be a curling floor (a fun, ice-based game) that is suitable for people in wheelchairs, as well as food vans and entertainment.
Can school and workplace groups book for their end-of-year celebrations?
Yes! Groups are encouraged to book the rink for their end-of-year celebrations. It’s a fun and festive way to celebrate the conclusion of the year.
Do I need to book tickets in advance?
While tickets can be purchased at the venue, we recommend booking in advance through the ticketing website to secure your preferred session time, especially for school or group bookings.
Are skate rentals included in the ticket price?
Yes, skate rentals are included with the purchase of a ticket. We have skates available in a range of sizes to accommodate both children and adults.
Is the event suitable for all ages?
Absolutely! Summer on Ice is a family-friendly event designed for all ages. Whether you’re a seasoned skater or a first-timer, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. People aged 4 + are able to skate.
Will there be any special activities on site?
Yes! In addition to ice-skating, the event will feature food vans, offering a variety of festive treats, and lawn games to keep everyone entertained when not on the ice.
What should I wear to the event?
We recommend wearing comfortable, clothing and socks for skating. The specially designed rink isn’t cold or wet, so there’s no need to worry about gloves or wet weather gear!
Is parking available?
Yes, parking will be available at the Wharf Precinct. We encourage attendees to arrive early, especially during peak times, to ensure they find a spot.
