Food Organics and Garden Organics (FOGO)
The Central Coast Council will be introducing a fortnightly Food Organics and Garden Organics (FOGO) kerbside collection service for all current domestic waste and recycling kerbside collection residents in October 2019.
FOGO will allow you to recycle your food and garden waste in a Council-supplied FOGO bin.
Download the Fact Sheets, watch the videos below and join us at an Information Session to learn how FOGO will work and what it means for you.

FOGO is Coming to Central Coast
Council gives a huge thank you to the very talented drama students at Ulverstone Secondary Collage School for helping spread the good news about FOGO.
FOGO will dramatically reduce the amount of waste we produce going into landfill and the students from Leighland Christian School say, that will have significant environmental benefits. Thank you to everyone involved with making the film!
Are you ready to Go-Go with FOGO?
In late October, everyone receiving kerbside waste collection will be able to do their bit to improve the environment by separating their food and garden waste from their general waste. Jenna Squire from Turners Beach is among those ready, willing and able to Go-Go with FOGO. A big thank you to Jenna for helping us make this film!
Go FOGO with Costa!
Australia’s favourite TV gardener, Costa Georgiadis, has endorsed Council’s FOGO initiative as a logical next step in preserving our area’s unique environment.
