The Central Coast Council is seeking to appoint a Town Planner to its Land Use Planning Group within the Community Services Department. The Town Planner is responsible for ensuring compliance with the Tasmanian Resource Management & Planning System and associated Acts and will be required to provide quality advice on a variety of land use matters, particularly development applications.

Essential: Knowledge and understanding of the Tasmanian Resource Management & Planning System, associated Acts and statutory requirements, and a Tertiary Degree or Post-Graduate qualifications in land use planning.

Salary and conditions: Casual position. Central Coast Council’s Enterprise Agreement – Professional Officer Level 2.
