Place of Assembly:
Under the Public Health Act 1997, a Place of Assembly Licence is mandatory for mass outdoor public events with 1000 people or more present for 2 hours or more. This includes a wide range of public gatherings, such as performances, exhibitions, festivals, and sports events. Central Coast Council assesses Place of Assembly Licence applications to ensure the health and safety of attendees. As an event organiser, it is your responsibility to comply with the regulations outlined in the Public Health Act 1997 and ensure the smooth operation of your event.
You must fill out and submit an application form at least 4 weeks before your event.
