The Midway Point area was recently closed for day users and freedom camping to enable improvements to be made prior to reopening.

The works will include improved drainage and surface conditions, improved entrance road location and grade, relocation of the current road to provide a larger area of separation to the shared pathway, provision of improved parking for day users, and establishment of an area for picnic tables on the western end.

The areas of vegetation will be separated from camping use and a vegetation screen provided near Preservation Drive.

In order to maintain safety he shared pathway will remain open for the duration of the work. It is requested that those using the pathway obey all signage and any directions provided during the construction period.
