The North West Coast is invited to enjoy Pacific Rhythm 2026, a free celebration of Pacific culture featuring live music, dance and family-friendly entertainment at the Ulverstone Sound Shell on Saturday, 21 February 2026, from 4.00pm to 8.00pm.
Following a strong turnout in 2025, with more than 1,200 people attending, Pacific Rhythm returns in 2026 with another afternoon and evening of live performances, food and family-friendly activities by the coast.
The festival celebrates the rich cultures of Pacific Island nations and members of the Pacific Australia Labour Mobility (PALM) Scheme, who live and work in the region and play an important role in community life.
Families can enjoy kids’ face painting, food vans and coffee, and a relaxed community BBQ.
Mayor Cheryl Fuller welcomed the event as a celebration of cultural connection and community spirit.
“Pacific Rhythm is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the talents and cultural traditions of our Pacific communities, including people here through the PALM Scheme,” Mayor Cheryl Fuller said. “PALM workers play an important role in supporting local businesses and primary producers, and we’re proud to host a free family event that brings everyone together.”

Pacific Rhythm 2026 is presented by PALM and supported by the Tasmanian Government and Central Coast Council.
