Experience the tranquility of our parks and reserves, where nature’s beauty unfolds at every turn. Whether you’re seeking a peaceful picnic spot or craving an adrenaline-filled adventure, our diverse parklands have something for everyone. Explore the wide open spaces along the river for kids to run and play at Anzac Park, breathe in the fresh air at Gunns Plains, or stroll along the palm tree lined walking track at Fairway Park. With over a dozen parks and reserves to choose from, Tasmania’s Central Coast invites you to embrace the great outdoors and create unforgettable memories.
Booking Parks & Open Spaces
Council’s parks and reserves, including BBQ areas, are public spaces available to all and are not reserved exclusively for private events. However, through our booking process, we can arrange for our team to ensure the area is well-prepared—lawns mowed, bins emptied, and general upkeep completed—prior to your event. We can also inform other visitors about existing plans for the space.
