Ulverstone Sports and Leisure Centre
Social Rooms
Upstairs at the Ulverstone Sports and Leisure Centre and overlooking the picturesque Leven River, are our spacious Social Rooms. These rooms offer ideal spaces for conferences, promotional events, meetings, weddings and private functions. Complete with kitchen and bar facilities, the venue caters for up to 200 persons.

Community Venues
The Central Coast Council has a variety of function spaces, community halls, and meeting rooms available for members of the public to hire at affordable rates.
These venues are self-managed with set up and pack down the responsibility of hirer on the day/s of hire, offering a blank canvas for all occasions and events.

Gnomon Pavilion
The beautiful Gnomon Pavilion is located at the Wharf Precinct in Ulverstone and can be accessed off Crescent Street. This contemporary space is licenced for up to 160 people and has picturesque views of the beautiful Leven River, Dial Range and Mt Gnomon.
Located within walking distance of the Ulverstone CBD, the Gnomon Pavilionis the perfect location for your next function. The space can also be divided into smaller rooms for more intimate settings, with foldable walls for meetings or networking events.

Montgomery Room
The Montgomery Room is centrally located in Carpark Lane (Woolworths Carpark) in Ulverstone’s CBD. It is a versatile community space ideal for meetings, training sessions, workshops and small social functions.
The room seats up to 35 people comfortably, with chairs and tables provided in the hire fee. The fully equipped kitchen makes catering for your event a breeze, with an oven, microwave, fridge, urn, all crockery, cookware and utensils provided.

Ulverstone Civic Centre
Ulverstone Civic Centre offers a premier convention and entertainment venue for the community. Centrally located in Ulverstone, the centre provides easy access for patrons from surrounding areas and ample free parking on-site.
The Ulverstone Civic Centre complex is equipped with a range of amenities to support your event, including PA systems, theatre sound and lighting, lecterns, projectors, whiteboards and audio equipment. For sound and lighting requirements, please contact our Community Team prior to confirming your booking.
Leven Theatre
Located inside the Civic Centre is the Leven Theatre, which seats up to 250 guests. Designed for comfort and functionality, the theatre features three dressing rooms and offers a relaxed ambiance for performances and events. Isandula and Gawler Rooms
Please note, the Isandula Room is now included with all Leven Theatre hire and as such, is unavailable for separate hire outside of theatre bookings unless by special negotiation with the Community Team.
Please also note that as of 1 July 2024 the Gawler Room is under management through a private lease arrangement with the Ulverstone Repertory Theatre Society and all bookings for this space are managed directly by the Secretary around their operations.

Council also hire out a range of community halls providing great spaces for community gatherings, functions, birthday and anniversary celebrations, and more!
Forth Community Hall
Capacity for up to 150 people with full kitchen facilities available.
