Come on down to the Ulverstone Community Shed, where you’ll find a welcoming space to chat, tinker, and get creative! Whether you’re fixing up a project, hanging out with friends, or trying your hand at woodworking, there’s something for everyone here. We’ve got all the tools and equipment you need, along with plenty of timber and recycled materials available for purchase. Plus, if you’re part of a community group looking for a place to meet, our shed space is available for hire upon request. Group Activities
Men’s Group
9am – 1pm Monday, Wednesday and Fridays
Cost to attend: $5 per session or $60 per year
- BBQ days last Friday of the month
- Mens Health Week (June) – Guest Speakers
- Social Outings, Community Garden, Welding Community projects, training and mentoring, plus a whole lot more.
Call in on a Mens Shed day and meet a Supervisor to have a look through and to find out more.
Women’s Group
9am – 3pm Tuesdays
Cost to attend: $5 per session or $30 per year
- A session for ladies of any age.
- Improve skills and knowledge in wood working.
- Learn how to use tools and machinery correctly/safely
- Try a small project – work up to something bigger.
- Fun, friendly and informative program just for ladies.
Community Shed
The Community Shed space may be available to hire by community groups, upon request.
