Grant Writing Workshop

Join us for a free grant writing workshop session thanks to Volunteering Tasmania and Central Coast Council.

This session includes an overview of:

  • The steps involved in developing a grant proposal
  • The types of grants you can apply for and where to find them
  • How to read grant guidelines and understand what funders want
  • How to scope your project and make it into a fundable solution
  • What you need to know about developing budgets and considering the sustainability of your project
  • The important questions for evaluating your project

Who should attend?

People need grant writing skills to improve their chances of attracting funding for important projects in their work or community. Funders want to see that your idea or activity can make a meaningful difference so by telling your story clearly and showing how it solves a problem, you make it easier for funders to support your proposal. If you are an individual, a group member or employed in a not for profit, this session will give you an understanding of how you can contribute to the grant writing process and help secure funding for your important projects.
