Australia Day 2026 – Citizenship and Awards Ceremony

Join Central Coast Council on Monday 26 January 2026 for the Australia Day Citizenship and Awards Ceremony at the Ulverstone Soundshell.

The ceremony will welcome new Australian citizens to our community and celebrate local people and groups through the Australia Day Awards, recognising the contribution they make to life on the Central Coast.

Awards to be presented on the day include Citizen of the Year, Young Citizen of the Year, Champion of Sport, Community Event of the Year and Community Group of the Year.

Guests are welcome to arrive from 8.45am to enjoy a light breakfast and live music, with the ceremony commencing at 9.30am and concluding at around 10.30am.

Location: Ulverstone Soundshell 
Wet weather venue: Ulverstone Civic Centre

The program includes an Address by former Central Coast resident and inspiring young farmer, Dylan Bellchambers, along with music from the Ulverstone Municipal Band.
