Community Representative Groups

CENTRAL COAST COMMUNITY SAFETY PARTNERSHIP COMMITTEE

The Central Coast Community Safety Partnership Committee is a community advisory group of the Council that is made up of representatives from organisations as well as individuals representing their respective community who actively support the development of community safety initiatives. The committee proactively informs and endorses the Action Plan as a purposeful document and as an important component in assisting the community to be vibrant and safe.

CENTRAL COAST COMMUNITY SHED COMMITTEE

 The Central Coast Community Shed (Community Shed) has been developed by volunteers and the Council, funded through grants, donations, and Council funding. The Community Shed is a well utilised and valued asset, offering a space that is capable of hosting a wide range of programs and activities in a safe, well-equipped workshop environment. Participation of the Committee members in the Community Shed’s decision making process is essential to ensure the growth of a valuable and efficient facility.

The Central Coast Youth Leader’ group is a special Committee of the Council that works with the young people in our community.

The Empowering Youth Program aims to create genuine leaders and positive change in our communities.  The Central Coast Youth Leaders’ Council enjoyed their inspiring experience of the BEAST program.  The event facilitated by JCP Youth and supported by Collective Ed. Central Coast and the Beacon Foundation.  Thanks to everyone involved in making the movie!

The Forth Community Representatives Group was established to be a conduit between the Forth Community and the Council. The role of the Forth Community Representatives Group is to assist the Council in ensuring that the Forth Community is represented.
