Hive is inviting North-West Tasmanian artists and community groups to share their work in its Ground Floor Circulation Space.
Each year, four exhibitions are selected for the space, creating an opportunity to connect with Hive visitors in a welcoming public space.
The Ground Floor Circulation Space includes wall-mounted display areas and display boxes and is suited to two-dimensional and small display works. Floor installations cannot be accommodated.
Hive is looking for exhibitions that celebrate local creativity, engage visitors and contribute to the cultural life of the North-West.
This opportunity is separate from Hive’s curated Art Gallery program and provides an open pathway for artists and community groups to be considered for exhibition at Hive.
There is no exhibition fee, and artists may choose to make works available for sale, with sales managed through Hive Visitor Services.
Expressions of Interest are open to artists and community groups from North-West Tasmania. Artists and groups from neighbouring areas may also be considered where they have a demonstrated connection to the North-West community.
Applications are now open and close Wednesday 30 September.
For full details, application requirements and to apply, visit the Hive website.
Hive is proud to support local artists and community groups to share their work, connect with audiences and contribute to the creative life of our region.
