We’re inviting the community to review and provide feedback on the draft Johnson’s Beach Master Plan.
Prepared by Central Coast Council in partnership with Jensen PLUS, the draft master plan sets out a long-term vision for the future of the Johnson’s Beach precinct while recognising the natural character that makes the area so valued by the community.
The plan looks at opportunities to improve recreation spaces, accessibility, pathways, landscaping, coastal protection, public amenities and connections throughout the precinct, while supporting Johnson’s Beach as a much-loved place for locals and visitors.
The project has been shaped by community and stakeholder engagement undertaken earlier this year, with strong feedback highlighting the importance of preserving the relaxed coastal feel of Johnson’s Beach while improving facilities and accessibility.
Key ideas within the draft master plan include:
- improved walking connections and accessibility
- upgrades to public spaces and picnic areas
- revegetation and environmental improvements
- opportunities for public art and interpretation
- improvements to boating infrastructure and parking
- enhanced facilities for recreation and community use.
There are a few ways to have your say:
- Attend the drop-in session at the Johnson’s Beach Scout Hall on Thursday 28 May, between 2pm and 7pm. You can view the draft master plan, explore maps and concept displays, speak directly with Council staff and consultants, and share your feedback.
- Visit My Central Coast, Council’s online engagement platform, to view the draft master plan and complete the survey.
- Contact Council if you need help to take part or would prefer to provide feedback another way.
Feedback is open until 1 June 2026.
