If you haven’t been to Ulverstone’s iconic waterslide, then you’re missing out. The slide has been a part of summer on the Coast for over 20 years, and it’s the perfect place to spend the weekend with the family. Or why not get a group together for a booking before the summer season ends?
Soak up the atmosphere at Pacific Rhythm
Pacific Rhythm is coming back to the Ulverstone Soundshell on Saturday 21 February for an evening celebrating Pacific music, dance and culture. Last year, more than 1,200 people came along to enjoy the atmosphere, performances and food — and it’s shaping up to be another great summer event.
Treat yourself in Turners Beach
There’s no better time of year to get out and about along our shared coastal pathway, and Turners Beach is one of those places that really shines in summer. Take a walk, then pop into one of our local food spots — like the fantastic new Little Riva — or visit an old favourite like the iconic Berry Patch.
What better place to enjoy the warmer weather than the beautiful Dial Range – whether you’re exploring on foot or by mountain bike. The eco-friendly facilities at Mount Montgomery include a bike washdown and repair station, a boot wash, and a toilet facility using captured rainwater. These facilities make it easier for people to enjoy the area while also helping look after this beautiful part of the Coast.
