Country Transfer Station vouchers now available online

Eligible Central Coast residents can now access and manage their Country Transfer Station vouchers online through Council’s new Resident Services platform.

The new online option allows residents to display their voucher as a QR code on a phone or other device, or download a PDF copy to use offline.

Printed coupon cards will continue to be issued with rates notices to eligible rural properties.

Access your vouchers online

To get started, visit centralcoast.residentservices.com.au and create an account using your email address.

You will receive a confirmation email. Follow the link in the email to activate your account, then:

  1. Search for your property address.
  2. Verify the property using the assessment number shown on your rates notice.
  3. Open the Vouchers page.
  4. Select Unlock and accept the terms and conditions.

Your voucher QR code will then be available immediately.

You can present the QR code on your device at the facility or download it as a PDF to keep offline.

Before you leave home: Mobile reception may be limited at some facilities. Download the voucher or take a screenshot of the QR code before travelling.

In some cases, your online account may need to be linked with the printed coupon card issued for your property. The platform will direct you to contact Council where this is required.

Changes to coupon requirements

Eligible properties will continue to receive an annual allocation of 36 coupons for 2026-27.

However, the number of coupons required for some loads has changed due to an increase in the Tasmanian Government landfill levy from $45.84 to $70.56 per tonne.

Loads containing material that will be sent to landfill will generally require more coupons, while separated recyclable and reusable materials will require fewer.

This helps reduce the amount of waste sent to landfill and supports the long-term sustainability of rural waste services.

The updated coupon requirements and further information about accepted materials are available on Council’s website.

Country Transfer Station vouchers can be used at the Castra, Preston and South Riana Country Transfer Stations, as well as the Resource Recovery Centre at Lobster Creek Road, West Ulverstone.
