Kickstart Your Day with Delicious Food and Coffee
There’s no shortage of amazing places to eat and drink on the coast, like Thirty Three Cups. A local favourite, it’s renowned for its amazing food, great coffee, and welcoming staff. So why not swing by, grab a coffee, and say g’day to Sky and her team.
Splash into Summer at the Ulverstone Waterslide
A much-loved local favourite, the Ulverstone Waterslide is the perfect place to cool off this summer. Open on weekends until March and every day during the summer school holidays, the waterslide offers hours of fun for all ages. Open from 12pm to 5pm, grab some friends or the kids and make a splash!
It wouldn’t be Tasmania without an ice cream on a 19-degree day! There are plenty of great spots for sweet treats on the Coast, but if you’re passing through Turners Beach, be sure to stop by the Berry Patch. Locals rave about their fresh berry ice creams, and you can even pick your own berries while you’re there.
Looking for something fun for the kids? Hive, the Central Coast’s Culture Centre, is a must stop destination. Have your minds blown in the planetarium, get creative and curious in the Science Centre, or relax while the kids enjoy one of our exciting school holiday activities.
On the Central Coast, there’s no shortage of great beaches to enjoy. Whether it’s a quick dip at Penguin Beach or an afternoon in the sun at Midway Beach in Sulphur Creek, you’re sure to find the perfect spot. And with free water safety programs on offer from Surf Life Saving Tasmania this summer, there’s never been a better time to get the kids out in the water.
