Forming Part of the Central Coast Cultural Heritage Study

The Council has been working with the team from Extent Heritage to identify the buildings and places that are important to our community. This will inform the Council’s development and land-use planning decisions moving forward.

The community has helped generate a great list of historically significant places. Now we’re asking for your help to identify houses and other buildings which, while not necessarily historically significant, are excellent examples of architecture from the period in which they were built. It is important to retain good architectural examples from every era, including those built since the second World War.

The Council has created a simple online form to allow people to tell us about such properties in Central Coast.  All we are asking for is the address and the approximate construction date, if known.  The survey also provides the option of uploading some photos, but this is not essential.

The survey is available by clicking the green button below, and will remain open until the end of January 2022.
Alternatively, people can contact Council’s Planning team via [email protected] or (03) 6429 8900.
