Volunteers

The Ulverstone Volunteer Group is an ongoing service provided to the frail, the aged and younger people with disabilities within the Ulverstone area. Volunteers help clients with visiting, transport to doctors etc., shopping and companionship.

The group is funded by the Council as part of its commitment to provide services that are not met within the community by other organisations or departments.  Community Transport Services Inc. provide reimbursements to the volunteers for travel expenses and any costs they incur in their voluntary capacity.

For more information, contact the Community Services Officer, Corporate & Community Services Department.
