The Penguin Recreation Ground Master Plan project is now complete, with the Council adopting the Master Plan at its meeting in June 2017.
The Plan has a combination of community and commercial buildings, residential lots and civic space. The finalisation of the Plan comes at the end of an extensive community and stakeholder consultation process.
The Master Plan is accompanied by a Community Engagement Report which sets out the process undertaken for the development of the Master Plan and includes an implementation plan to help guide the sequence of the next steps – some of which have a higher priority and others have contingent actions. You can click here to view the Master Plan and Community Engagement Report, or view the documents immediately below (to move through the pages, use the up and down arrows at the bottom of the document).
The implementation of actions will begin once the Penguin Football and Cricket Clubs have relocated to the new Dial Regional Sports Complex facility and will also be dependent on available funding.Penguin Recreation Ground Master Plan 2017
