This year the Christmas Sports Carnivals will include a Cycling Criterium on Tuesday 26 December.  For the first time in 131 years, the Carnivals will kick off with a twilight cycling criterium in Ulverstone on Boxing Day.  Starting and finishing in Dial Street, Bicentennial Park, races will begin with the 18-lap Masters event at 4.30pm, followed by the Women’s race at 5.15pm, then the Men’s race at 6.15pm.

In conjunction with the cycling there will be a festival in Bicentennial Park running from 4.30 to 8.30pm, with live entertainment from popular retro rock band “The Collection” who will perform a range of hit songs you just can’t help but want to dance to.  There will also be food vendors and children’s entertainment.  It’s a great opportunity to relax, picnic in the park and enjoy the new Cycling Criterium right here in Central Coast.
